On December 15, 2009 MHS lost one of their vital Board of Director members, Roger C. Lance. Roger had served a year of his four year term and had truly found his stride in his last few months. Roger believed deeply in preserving the Legacy and his sharp, analytical mind with the ability to see the big picture poised him to be a driving force behind the MHS mission.

Roger served on a number of Boards, including serving as a Director for the 394th BG Association and the Chino Air Museum in California including much volunteering in his town of Laguna Niguel, CA.

While inWWII, Roger was a B-26 pilot and he continued afterWWII in the Korean war as well. We thank Roger for his service and sacrifice inWWII and beyond and wish peace for his friends and family. We will miss you.
