322nd BG/451st SQ, Marauder: “Idiot’s Delight”

Age 90, formerly of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 28, 2010 in Winamac, IN. He is survived by daughters, Helen Drew of Winamac, Cindy (Merle) Perdue of Hollow Rock, TN; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 great -great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by wife, Norma; daughter, Kathy McColley.

Edward was a proud World War II Army Veteran with the 451st Bomb Squad and a member of Lowell VFW and Cedar Lake Am Vets. Edward was retired from Union Carbide in E. Chicago and then worked for Thermark in Schererville for 5 years.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 3, from 4-8 p.m. at Sheets Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, IN 46356. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville.
